Giant Sinkhole In Guatemala Concerns Local Government

A giant sinkhole in Guatemala swallowed a building and an intersection leaving local authorities to wonder if the occurrence is an isolated incident or a potentially continuing threat to the citizens of Guatemala City. The sinkhole has been reported as being 330 feet deep and resembles the appearance of a massive well. Not only is the depth alarming, the sinkhole has an estimated 500 yard perimeter The sinkhole seems bottomless to the naked eye from the air.
